De TOUGHBOOK S1 tablet - de ultieme rugged Android™-tablet voor de echte mobiele werker. Dit apparaat met 7-inch scherm is gemakkelijk met één hand te bedienen, kan worden aangepast voor diverse taken en is toch krachtig en robuust genoeg om zelfs de meest drukke shifts aan te kunnen. De TOUGHBOOK S1 is op zijn best wanneer hij wordt gebruikt door beveiligings- en politiemensen die op straat patrouilleren, technici die productielijnen controleren, buitendiensttechnici die inspecties en onderhoud uitvoeren of bouwvakkers op de bouwplaats. Het apparaat ondersteunt ook Panasonic COMPASS 2.0, het enterprise management pakket voor Panasonic TOUGHBOOK rugged tablets en handheld apparaten met het Android-besturingssysteem.Om ervoor te zorgen dat de rugged tablet een hele dienst lang kan worden gebruikt, kunnen de batterijen dankzij een eenvoudig klik- en schakelontwerp met een ‘warm swap’ worden verwisseld. Daarbij hoeft het werk niet te worden onderbroken, hoeft het apparaat niet te worden uitgeschakeld en hoeven er geen lastige panelen te worden verwijderd om de batterijen te vervangen. Voor het apparaat kunnen twee batterijformaten worden gebruikt en het kan tot 14 uur werken op één keer laden.
